Milecross Commission System

MFS are Northern Ireland's largest Zurich tied financial services network. A fundamental role of the network is to allocate and pay advisor commission at both weekly and monthly frequencies.
The web based front end was designed and delivered using strict XHTML 1.1 and CSS with close attention to cross browser and platform compatibility. All backend data was stored using MySQL and 256 bit AES encryption in line with industry compliance regulations.
A PHP engine was designed from scratch to parse an XLS/XML data feed, provided by the network parent company. The engine was then responsible for matching and allocating each individual commission payment to its relevant advisor at a given payment rate before automatically generating and sending electronic commission statements.
The project took one year to build and deploy and is now licensed to additional Zurich tied financial services networks across the country.
